For history lovers everywhere…

Hi, my name is Patricia (Pat to my friends), and the purpose of my blog posts is to share information on family research, and other topics, which will be chiefly historical in nature. Although I spent most of my working life as an applied economist I am returning to my first love, history, in my retirement years. At school in Bridgwater, England, in the 1960s, history was the only subject I was any good at. Fortunately it was enough to get me into the University of East Anglia, in 1966, where I majored in history in the School of English and American Studies. I hope you enjoy my posts.
